Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group in Kerikeri, North Island, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead a close-knit clinical team in a small aged care facility. You will provide strong clinical leadership, drive high standards of care and build trusted relationships with staff, residents and families.

This full-time role offers APC registration, ongoing professional development, and a focus on meaningful work supporting residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' aged care experience.
• Current NZ Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Strong leadership with ability to oversee clinical services.
• Experience mentoring and developing teams.
• Sound management, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Genuine empathy for elderly residents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the clinical team to uphold high care standards.
• Assist the Facility Manager with daily operations.
• Ensure high standards of resident care are maintained.
• Oversee clinical documentation for compliance and accuracy.
• Manage staffing, including performance and development.
• Coordinate clinical supplies to ensure cost-effective use.
• Oversee clinical risk training and reporting compliance.
• Design rosters to maximise staffing efficiency and resident care.
