Summerset Holdings is seeking an inspirational Clinical Manager in Aotea to lead a skilled team of Nurses and Caregivers within a Care Centre. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with on-call duties occasionally.

You will report to the Village Manager and oversee staffing, budgeting and care delivery, ensuring compliance with industry standards while promoting a positive, collaborative culture across the village.

Qualifications

• Current practicing certificate and strong knowledge of the aged residential care industry, including Te Whatu Ora standards and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated passion for driving team culture and making a positive impact on residents' lives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop direct reports with accountability for recruitment, coaching, performance and recognition.
• Maintain relationships with residents, their families and external stakeholders; be the primary contact in difficult situations.
• Support clinical decisions and know when to seek additional clinical input.
• Plan and coordinate audits, implement policy changes and liaise with NASC, DHB and other external agencies.
• Foster an inviting team culture and drive collaboration across the village.

About the role

We are on the lookout for an inspirationalClinical Manager who is enthusiastic about leading a well-established team of Nurses and Caregivers who require continuation of great leadership to provide quality care in our Care Centre.

Located in Aotea, this is a full-time role with working hours from Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. On occasion you may be required on-call.

Role responsibilities:

Reporting into the Village Manager, the Care Team will be your domain. You'll effectively be the business lead, responsible for all staffing and budgeting. Other responsibilities of the role will include:

• Management and development of your direct reports with full accountability for all aspects of recruitment, coaching, performance and recognition
• Maintain and build wholesome relationships with residents, their families and other stakeholders, including being primary point of contact for at times difficult situations.
• Support appropriate clinical decisions, including recognition of when it is appropriate to seek additional clinical input.
• Plan and co-ordinate audits, implementation of policy changes and liaison with NASC, DHB and other relevant external agencies
• Foster an inviting team culture and drive collaboration across the village

Qualifications:

About you
