Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking expressions of interest from experienced NZ Registered Dietitians to join our team at North Shore Hospital, focusing on acute care for surgical and medical patients. Roles are permanent with a minimum 0.9FTE; please indicate preference for 0.9 or full-time.

You would be part of a larger Dietetics team across North Shore, Waitakere hospitals and satellite sites, providing inpatient, outpatient, bariatric, renal and community services.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Dietitian with experience in acute inpatient settings.
• Experience in surgical and medical inpatient care.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute inpatient dietetic care to surgical and medical patients.
• Collaborate with a team of 10 inpatient Dietitians.
• Support inpatient, outpatient, bariatric, renal and community services.

About the Role

We are seeking expressions of interests from experienced NZ Registered Dietitians to join our close-knit and innovative team of Dietitians. The upcoming roles are focused on providing acute care to surgical and medical patients as part of the team of 10 inpatient Dietitians at North Shore Hospital. About the Team/Service/ Location

You would be part of a larger team of Dietitians in Medicine and Health of Older people providing adult patient services across both North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals and satellite sites. We provide inpatient, outpatient, bariatric, renal and community services.

About you

• Self-motivated and enjoy working in a flexible and challenging environment
• Great communication skills
• Efficient in time management
• Enjoy working both independently and as part of a strong quality-focused team
• At least two years experience in the acute inpatient setting
