Job summary

The University of Auckland is seeking a compassionate Clinical Case Manager to join the Campus Care team. You will assess needs, develop support plans, advocate for students, and coordinate transfers to internal and external services to support wellbeing and success.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing.
• Registration under Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 (e.g., SWRB, OTBNZ, NCNZ or equivalent).
• At least five years’ experience providing case management or mental health support to young people or students.
• Strong understanding of wellbeing and support services in tertiary or community settings.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Cultural competence and an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
• A current right to work in NZ.

Responsibilities

• Manage referrals, assess risk and provide professional, timely responses to urgent or complex situations.
• Develop and manage support plans for students with wellbeing concerns or complex needs.
• Collaborate with academic, professional, and external support services to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and prepare reports as required.
