Job summary

JobSpace in Te Puke, Bay of Plenty is seeking an experienced Client Services Manager to lead client relationships, secure new business opportunities, and coordinate service delivery.

Reporting to senior management, you will maintain existing client relationships while growing the business, negotiating contracts, and guiding teams to deliver high-quality service. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site role with a competitive pay rate and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

Pay Rate:$30.00 – $34.00 per hour
Hours of Work:Minimum 30 hours per week, maximum 45 hours per week

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Client Services Manager to join our growing business. This position is responsible for managing client relationships, securing new business opportunities, coordinating service delivery, and ensuring clients receive a high level of service.

Reporting directly to the Director and other members of management as required, you will play a key role in maintaining existing client relationships while supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling communications with existing clients.
  • Obtaining new clients, including negotiating new contracts covering scope of work, budgets, financing requirements, staffing levels, and resource requirements.
  • Collaborating with management and operational staff to ensure client requirements are fulfilled.
  • Developing, implementing and reviewing policies and procedures relating to client relationships and service delivery.
  • Providing direction and guidance to team members to ensure services are delivered efficiently and to the required standard.
  • Resolving issues that arise between clients and staff to achieve positive outcomes for all parties.
  • Conducting follow-up reviews with clients regarding service performance and budget expectations.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvements and implementing changes where required.
  • Maintaining strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Skills and Experience Required

Applicants must have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience, or
  • Level 5 qualification on the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF) in a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and without direct supervision.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organisational and time management abilities.
  • Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
