Job summary

Kiwibank in Tauranga, New Zealand is seeking a Client Director to lead a portfolio of corporate clients, deepen relationships and steer complex lending opportunities. You will collaborate with product specialists and credit teams to deliver tailored banking solutions and strategic advice.

You will also mentor teams, build trusted relationships with senior leaders, and drive growth across lending, markets, trade finance and cash management.

This is a role for a relationship banker who thrives on building connections and creating opportunities. You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of corporate clients, deepening existing relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities. Working alongside product specialists and credit teams, you'll deliver tailored banking solutions, provide strategic commercial advice and lead complex lending opportunities. You'll also play an important leadership role, developing your team and strengthening Kiwibank's presence in the corporate market.

For this role we’re looking for a commercially savvy relationship leader who knows how to build lasting client partnerships and drive growth. We would love to hear from you if you have experience in the following:

• Proven success growing corporate banking relationships and winning new business

• Experienced in building trusted relationships with senior business leaders and key market networks
• Proficient in delivering tailored banking solutions across lending, financial markets, trade finance and cash management
• Experienced in leading, coaching and developing high performing teams
