Job summary

All Star Cleaning in Wellington region is seeking a Cleaning Services Manager to lead day-to-day cleaning operations across multiple sites, plan staff rosters, coordinate client requirements, and ensure safety and quality. This role requires at least 3 years in cleaning or NZQF Level 4+ and offers 30–45 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience in commercial/industrial cleaning, including supervising staff and daily service operations.
• NZQF Level 4 qualification or above.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and review the day-to-day operations of cleaning services across multiple sites.
• Coordinate cleaning contracts to meet client requirements, schedules and quality standards.
• Prepare rosters, cleaning schedules and site allocations based on workloads and staff availability.
• Recruit, induct, train, supervise and support cleaning staff and monitor performance.
• Allocate duties and provide instructions on cleaning methods, client expectations, health and safety and site procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks, arrange corrective action as needed.
• Communicate with clients about service requirements, feedback and changes to contracts.
• Investigate and resolve client concerns, maintaining positive relationships.
• Assist with proposals, quotations, and cost estimates for clients.
• Monitor staffing, equipment usage, and operating costs; manage stock and maintenance.
