Job summary

JAE Christchurch Northwest is seeking a motivated Restoration Technician to join our team, working across Christchurch properties to restore homes and businesses affected by water damage.

This hands-on role offers full training and ongoing support, with a rostered after-hours/on-call system. You will work on diverse projects, develop specialist restoration skills, and contribute to exceptional customer service while maintaining high quality work across residential and commercial sites.

Qualifications

• No industry experience required; training provided.
• Must have a Full NZ Driver Licence.
• Reliable, organised and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Carpet and upholstery cleaning.
• Stain and odour treatments.
• Flood damage restoration.
• Assessing damage and documenting restoration work.
• Providing outstanding customer service.
• Working independently and as part of a team.
• Communicating with customers, insurers and other parties involved in restoration work.

JAE Christchurch Northwest is an established, locally owned business providing specialist restoration and cleaning services across Canterbury. We’re looking for a motivated Restoration Technician to join our experienced and supportive team.

This is a practical, customer-focused role working across residential and commercial properties throughout Christchurch. You’ll help restore homes and businesses affected by water damage, stains, odours and other property issues — making a real difference for customers when they need it most.

No industry experience? No problem. We’re more interested in the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
