Arvida in New Zealand is seeking a Housekeeper to help maintain high standards of cleanliness across our community, including resident rooms and common areas. You will contribute to a comfortable, hygienic environment for residents.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will identify cleaning needs, manage supplies with your supervisor, and support residents with a calm, courteous approach to their daily living and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team, and be highly responsible and reliable.
• The ability to focus on our resident needs and remain calm and courteous.
• A good level of physical fitness.

Job Description

Our Housekeepers contribute to the quality of life of our residents by maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across our community, and ensuring a comfortable environment for our residents.

You will be responsible for cleaning all areas within our community - including resident rooms and the interior of our facilities. You will liaise with other team members to identify areas that require special cleaning and collaborate with your supervisor in maintaining supplies and equipment.
