Job summary

Arvida is seeking a part-time housekeeper for Bethlehem Shores Living Well Limited in Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. You will maintain high cleanliness standards across the community and support residents by ensuring a safe, comfortable environment.

With Sunday to Wednesday 09:00–13:00 shifts, you will work closely with the housekeeping team to meet resident needs, manage supplies, and uphold our resident-led approach to care. Training provided and supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Reliable, team-oriented and responsible.
• Physically fit for duties in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas within the community, including resident rooms.
• Maintain hygiene and a comfortable living environment.
• Liaise with team members to identify areas needing cleaning.
• Collaborate with supervisor on supplies and equipment.

Job Description

Our Housekeepers contribute to the quality of life of our residents by maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across our community and ensuring a comfortable environment for our residents.

You will be responsible for cleaning all areas within our community - including resident rooms and the interior of our facilities. You will liaise with other team members to identify areas that require special cleaning and collaborate with your supervisor in maintaining supplies and equipment.

Sunday to Wednesday 0900 - 1300

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

• A good level of physical fitness
