Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our team in Manukau for a part-time role with early morning shifts.

You’ll perform general cleaning duties, operate car park equipment, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment. Please note the hours: Friday 03:00–12:30 and Saturday 03:00–11:30 with an hourly rate of $24.25. Applicants must have valid working rights in New Zealand and hold a current driving licence.

Qualifications

• Commercial cleaning experience is highly regarded.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and maintains high-quality work.
• Hold a valid Driver Licence and working rights in New Zealand.
• Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

We're looking for reliable and motivated Cleaner to join our team at Manukau.

Job type: Part-time

Hourly rate: $24.25

Working days: Friday 0300-1230 and Saturday 0300-1130

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties to a high standard.
• Previous car park cleaning experience is preferred.
• Confident operating a car park sweeper.
• Able to safely drive a buggy with a trailer as part of daily duties.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Clean and maintain car park areas to a high standard.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum internal areas as required.
• Clean amenities, including toilets and washrooms.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish.
• Spot clean furniture and high-touch surfaces.
• Clean internal and external glass as required.
• Dust and wipe down hard surfaces.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for clients, visitors and the public

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Previous commercial cleaning experience is highly regarded.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Reliable, punctual and have a positive attitude.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Experience operating cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, buffers and sweepers is an advantage.
• Hold a current and valid Driver Licence.
