Ōtūmoetai Primary School in Bay of Plenty seeks a Classroom Teacher for Years 1-8. The role is full-time and fixed-term with a start date of 28 January 2027. English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts

We seek an enthusiastic, passionate, collaborative, friendly and self-motivated teacher who is able to provide a positive and inclusive learning environment for our ākonga. The successful candidate must be a highly skilled and reflective practitioner. We are looking for a teacher who has excellent knowledge of and experience in using the newly refreshed New Zealand Curriculum. Knowledge of BSLA and/or The Code and experience in teaching Structured Literacy and Numeracy would be an advantage. We are wanting a teacher who has excellent classroom management skills and who has proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and whānau. Not suitable for beginning teachers.

This position will start on Thursday 28th January 2027.
