Job summary

Bethlehem School in Tauranga is seeking a passionate, committed teacher to join our highly effective teaching team. We are a contributing primary school in the wonderful city of Tauranga who believes that nurturing relationships are the foundation for empowered learning.

We are looking for an adaptable and flexible kaiako who wishes to be part of our amazing team, with prior bicultural teaching experience and willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities.

Qualifications

• Certified primary school teacher with current registration.
• Experience teaching Years 1-8.
• Willing to contribute to extra-curricular activities.
• Experience in a bicultural environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach English, Health and physical education across Years 1-8.
• Deliver Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences.
• Teach Te reo Māori and The arts; integrate technology as appropriate.
