Job summary

Team Global Express NZ is seeking a Class 5 Linehaul Driver for the Invercargill branch. Shift: Mon–Fri, starts ~8pm, minimum 10 hours. You’ll begin in Invercargill, swap a unit in Hampden, then return to Invercargill.

Responsibilities include loading, scanning, on-time deliveries, and maintaining high safety standards. NZ Class 5 license, Dangerous Goods endorsement, and forklift cert required. Competitive progression opportunities.

• B-Train and Truck/Trailer driving experience on NZ roads required.

Responsibilities

• Load and reload freight safely.
• Ensure freight is handled without damage.

• Operate vehicle safely and legally at all times.
• Keep vehicle clean and tidy inside and out.

Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

We're on the hunt for a Class 5 Linehaul Driver to join our Invercargill branch.

Shift: Monday - Friday, approx. 8pm start with minimum 10 hour shift

About the role - Mō te tūranga

This role will be responsible to assist with the timely safe handling of freight for the company to achieve their target delivery goals. You'll be starting the night in Invercargill, going through to Hampden for a unit swap, then back through to the Invercargill depot.

What you'll do:

• Load and reload freight safely.


• Ensure freight is handled without damage.


• Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it.


• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.


• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures


• Always operate your vehicle in a safe and legal manner.


• Take pride in your vehicle by always keeping it clean and tidy - inside and out.
