Job summary

Team Global Express NZ is seeking a Class 5 Linehaul Driver for our Invercargill depot, starting around 8pm with a minimum 10-hour shift.

You will load and reload freight, scan all items, deliver and pick up on time, and follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean and professional vehicle.

Applicants must be eligible to work in NZ and pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Clean Full NZ Class 5 License required.
• Dangerous Goods Endorsement required.
• Forklift License with OSH certification required.
• Customer-focused attitude essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• B-Train and Truck & Trailer driving experience on NZ roads preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and reload freight safely.
• Ensure freight is handled without damage.
• Scan all freight; if you touch it, scan it.
• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.
• Actively participate in safety processes and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle interior and exterior.
• Operate vehicle in a safe and legal manner.

Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

We’re on the hunt for a Class 5 Linehaul Driver to join our Invercargill branch.

Shift: Monday – Friday, approx. 8pm start with minimum 10 hour shift

About The Role - Mō Te Tūranga

This role will be responsible to assist with the timely safe handling of freight for the company to achieve their target delivery goals. You’ll be starting the night in Invercargill, going through to Hampden for a unit swap, then back through to the Invercargill depot.

What You'll Do

• Load and reload freight safely.
• Ensure freight is handled without damage.
• Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it.
• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.
• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures
• Always operate your vehicle in a safe and legal manner.
• Take pride in your vehicle by always keeping it clean and tidy - inside and out.
