Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island Limited in Dunedin is seeking a Class 5 Linehaul Driver to ensure timely deliveries from Dunedin to Christchurch and back, maintaining product quality and on-time arrivals.

You will operate a temperature-controlled truck, complete paperwork, and assist with loading/unloading while upholding Health & Safety standards. The role runs Sunday to Wednesday, totaling 44 hours per week in our Dunedin distribution centre.

Qualifications

• You must hold a valid Class 5 licence.
• F/OSH endorsement and DG certification are required.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently within a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive a temperature-controlled truck and trailer to complete scheduled delivery runs.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and logs.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.
• Represent the team responsibly on the road and follow Health & Safety guidelines.
• Meet daily delivery targets and contribute to feeding the South Island.

As our Class 5 Linehaul Driver, you’ll be on the road Sunday through to Wednesday, delivering goods from Dunedin to Christchurch and back – on time and in perfect condition. Based out of our Dunedin Distribution Centre, you’ll be part of a team that keeps our shelves stocked and our supply chain running smoothly.

In this role, you’ll:

• Drive a temperature controlled truck and trailer to complete scheduled delivery runs
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and logs
• Assist with loading and unloading when required
• Represent our team professionally while out on the road
• Follow Health and Safety procedures to keep yourself and others safe
• Meet daily delivery targets and contribute to feeding the South Island

Work hours are Sunday to Wednesday – 1.30pm to 1.00am (44 hours)

We are an alcohol and drug free workplace. Pre-employment checks include drug & alcohol testing and health assessment.

About you:

You’ll be behind the wheel or on your feet for most of your shift, so being physically fit and safety-conscious is key. If you’re confident driving a truck and trailer and meet the requirements below, we’d love to hear from you:
