Bidfood in Hawke's Bay is seeking a Driver/Store person to safely deliver orders, load and unload with care, and support the warehouse within a busy distribution environment.

The role combines independent work with teamwork and requires a physically fit candidate who holds a NZ full driver licence and aims for long-term employment. Immediate start for reliable, safety-conscious individuals is available.

Qualifications

• Physically fit with ability to lift 20kg+.
• Must hold a Clean Full New Zealand Driving Licence.
• Must obtain Full class 2 licence.
• Reliable and shows strong work ethic.
• Willing to learn and develop as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, ensuring on-time arrivals.
• Handle loading/unloading with care to maintain quality.

Driver / Store person

As a Driver/Store person, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders safely, accurately, and on time. Offering a hands-on role where you'll work both independently and as part of a supportive team.

Shifts:

Monday – Friday, Saturday rotating shifts

Hours:

5:30am – 3:00pm (hours discussed at interview)

The Role:

• Safely and efficiently operate our delivery vehicles, ensuring products arrive on-time and in excellent condition.
• Handle loading and unloading with care, maintaining product quality.
• Provide exceptional customer service, building positive relationships.
• Keep accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Assist in our busy Warehouse when required.
• Commitment to safety protocols and following Bidfood company procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy boxes (20kg+)
• A positive, 'can do' attitude with a strong work ethic
• Reliable, trustworthy and takes pride in delivering excellent service
• A team player who is willing to learn and develop
• Holds a Clean Full New Zealand Drivers Licence
• Must obtain Full class 2 licence
