Job summary

Rightmove Recruitment is seeking reliable Class 5 drivers for Christchurch and Selwyn-based roles. Roles involve civil, concrete, Hiab and general freight work with varying hours from 06:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

Competitive pay with holiday entitlements, PPE provided, and ongoing team support. Applicants should have a Class 5 licence, road ranger experience, and concrete truck experience for some positions.

Qualifications

• Class 5 Licence is required.
• Road ranger experience preferred.
• Concrete truck experience for some roles.
• Hiab ticket preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication with team members and site workers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety and environmental practices at all times.
• Maintain accurate driver records.
• Coordinate with crew and trades for efficient site operations.

We are working with some great Christchurch and Selwyn based companies who needreliable & experienced class 5 drivers for ongoing civil, Concrete, Hiab and general freight work in and around Christchurch and the South Island.

Hours of work vary but are generally 06:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

Pay Rate: $28.00 to $34.00 p/h (dependent on experience) + 8% holiday pay

These companies have a secure forward workload and a variety of ongoing projects.

What we need from you:

• Class 5 Licence.
• Road ranger experience preferred
• Concrete truck experience for some roles.
• Confident in reversing and tipping work
• General groundwork required when needed
• Hiab ticket for certain roles is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and site workers from other trades
• Always reliable and punctual
• Maintaining accurate driver records
• Experience with Load Security or Unit Standard 28715 handy.
• Ensuring all workplace health and safety and environmental practices are adhered to at all times
