The Recruiter is seeking an experienced Class 5 Line Haul Driver for immediate start in Tauranga. You will handle line haul runs with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service, delivering reliable transport solutions for clients.

Ideal candidates have NZ Class 5 licence, proven driving experience, knowledge of NZ road regulations, and a safety-first mindset. Immediate starts available with competitive pay and steady hours.

Qualifications

• Current NZ Class 5 Driver Licence is required.
• Proven driving experience across heavy vehicles is preferred.
• Experience with line haul or heavy transport is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of NZ roads and transport regulations is expected.
• Strong focus on health & safety and load security.
• Excellent driving record and safety attitude are essential.
• Reliable, punctual and professional demeanour.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are important.
• Physically fit and able to perform role requirements.

The Opportunity

You’ll be responsible for line haul freight runs, safely transporting goods between locations while providing a professional and reliable service.

We’re looking for drivers who are confident handling heavy vehicles, understand the importance of load security and take pride in maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

Immediate starts are available for the right candidates.

What we’re looking for:

• Current NZ Class 5 Driver Licence
• Proven driving experience
• Previous line haul or heavy transport experience (preferred)
• Good knowledge of NZ roads and transport regulations
• Strong understanding of H&S and load security requirements
• Excellent driving record and safety focus
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Physically fit and capable of handling the requirements of the role
• Ability to complete required driver logbooks/Daily Work Records and comply with fatigue management requirements
