Job summary

WM New Zealand is seeking a Class 4 Driver - Partswasher to service customer sites in Christchurch (Bromley) or Dunedin. You will operate and maintain partswashing equipment, collect waste, and help keep sites safe and compliant.

The role emphasizes building relationships with customers and delivering high-quality service on every run. You will join a safety-focused team, receive full training on our equipment, and have opportunities to grow within a market-leading environmental solutions

Qualifications

• Full NZ Class 4 licence with a good driving record.
• D endorsement, or willing to get one.
• Experience in transport, waste, industrial services, or a similar hands-on role.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
• Strong focus on health and safety.
• Able to work independently and manage your day effectively.
• Good people skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Reliable, practical and willing to pitch in where needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate specialised service vehicles and equipment.
• Service and maintain partswashing units at customer sites.
• Collect and transport liquid and hazardous waste per regulations.
• Complete waste tracking, compliance documentation and service records.
• Carrying out daily vehicle, equipment and safety checks.
• Ensure work complies with health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Build positive relationships with customers and WM team.
• Work with a high-performing, safety-focused team.
