Job summary

Big Chill Distribution is seeking a qualified Class 2 Driver to join our Ruakura hub in Hamilton, delivering and collecting chilled and frozen goods with temperature-controlled transport while delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays and involves working with well-maintained vehicles and a supportive team, backed by Big Chill's 25+ years in NZ express transport.

Qualifications

• Qualified Class 2 driver with at least 6 months' experience
• Experience in frozen/temperature-controlled environments preferred

About the Role

We are looking for anexperienced Class 2 Driverbased out of our busy Ruakura hub to join our team. Ideally you will have at least 6 months' experience driving Class 2 as well as experience in temperature-controlled transport, as you will be working with chilled and frozen goods. Being the face of Big Chill out on the roads, you will also bring to our team excellent communication and customer service skills.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays.

Key responsibilities include

• Delivery and pick up of chilled and frozen products across the Auckland region
• Providing assistance to the Stores team to present product for loading/unloading
• Collaborating with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries
• Compliance in delivery times and temperature control of customer goods

About You

• Qualified Class 2 driver with at least 6 months' experience
• Experience working in frozen/temperature-controlled environments
• Demonstrable organisational and time management abilities
• Committed to delivering exceptional customer service at all times
