Job summary

Persol in Christchurch is seeking a reliable driver to safely transport gas bottles and operate tanker trucks. You will conduct stock takes, ensure compliance, and deliver friendly, professional service to customers in Canterbury.

The role requires a current Class 2 NZ license with a clean record and at least 2 years of NZ driving experience. Forklift and DG endorsement are advantageous; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Current Class 2 NZ Driver's Licence with a clean record.
• Minimum 2 years' experience driving Class 2 or higher vehicles in New Zealand.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role.
• Reliable transport and punctuality.
• Forklift license and Dangerous Goods endorsement are an advantage (training can be provided).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport gas bottles to customer sites
• Complete stock takes and compliance checks accurately
• Provide friendly and professional service to customers
• Operate tanker and bottle trucks as required
