Job summary

JobSpace is seeking a Class 2 Parcel Driver to support deliveries in Tauranga for a couple of months. The role runs Monday to Saturday, 5am–1pm, delivering chilled and frozen parcels across the local metro in all weather.

You must have a full clean Class 2 licence (automatic), forklift OSH/F endorsement to load/unload, and be comfortable using a tablet and scanner. Candidates should be extraordinarily fit, professional, friendly, and able to chat with customers with a smile.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all conditions.
• Full clean Class 2 licence (Automatic Transmission).
• Forklift OSH and F Endorsement to load/unload the truck.
• Comfortable using a tablet and scanner.
• Professional appearance and friendly manner with customers.
• Good Tauranga city knowledge for prompt deliveries.
• Experience with pallet jack is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chilled and frozen parcels across the local Tauranga metro in all weather.
• Work Monday–Saturday, 5am–1pm shift.
• Operate truck lift and forklift as required with endorsements.
• Maintain a professional, punctual and courteous service to customers.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and have clean criminal history.

We are looking for a Class 2 Parcel Driver to join our client's team to support with deliveries over the next couple of months!

We are looking for a Class 2 Parcel Driver who is extraordinarily fit and likes to be outside moving around! This role is based in Tauranga and will see you delivering chilled and frozen parcels across the local metro, in rain, hail or shine! At this stage the role is anticipated to cover for a couple of months to support the team. The role & what's needed:

• Monday to Saturday | Day shift | 5am to 1pm
• Full clean Class 2 Drivers Licence (Automatic Transmission)
• Forklift OSH and F Endorsement to load and unload the truck
• Comfortable using a tablet and scanner
• Amazing level of physical fitness! This is not a stationary role!
• A professional manner, and personal presentation
• Friendly and outgoing (Not afraid to chat to customers with a smile!)
• You will need a good understanding of Tauranga city to support prompt transport and delivery
• Experience with a pallet jack is advantageous
