Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a Class 2 Parcel Driver in Tauranga to deliver chilled and frozen parcels across the local metro in all weather conditions. The role runs Monday to Saturday, 5am to 1pm, and requires a full clean Class 2 licence (automatic) with Forklift OSH/F Endorsement for loading/unloading.

Ideal candidates are extraordinarily fit, comfortable using a tablet and scanner, and able to interact with customers with a smile. Drug tests and a clean history are required.

Qualifications

• Full Clean Class 2 Drivers Licence (Automatic Transmission).
• Forklift OSH and F Endorsement to load and unload the truck.
• Excellent physical fitness and outdoor work ability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chilled and frozen parcels across the local metro in all weather.
• Operate 5am–1pm shift, Monday to Saturday.
• Load/unload using forklift; handle pallet jack if available.
• Use tablet and scanner for deliveries and signage.
• Provide friendly customer service with a smile and professional presentation.

We are looking for a Class 2 Parcel Driver who is extraordinarily fit and likes to be outside moving around!

This role is based in Tauranga and will see you delivering chilled and frozen parcels across the local metro, in rain, hail or shine!

At this stage the role is anticipated to cover for a couple of months to support the team.

The role &what's needed:

• Monday to Saturday | Day shift | 5am to 1pm
• Full Clean Class 2 Drivers Licence (Automatic Transmission)
• Forklift OSH and F Endorsement to load and unload the truck
• Comfortable using a tablet and scanner
• Amazing level of physical fitness! This is not a stationary role!
• A professional manner, and personal presentation
• Friendly and outgoing (Not afraid to chat to customers with a smile!)
• You will need a good understanding of Tauranga city to support prompt transport and delivery
• Experience with a pallet jack is advantageous
