Job summary

Halls Logistics in Invercargill, South Island, is seeking a friendly driver to deliver chilled or frozen freight with outstanding service. The role involves manual lifting and hand unloads while upholding safety and documentation standards.

You will hold a full Class 2 licence with at least one year of NZ driving experience, with bonus points for refrigerated transport. You will start at 4:00am and finish around 2:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Possess a full and clean Class 2 License.
• At least 1 year of NZ driving experience (bonus for refrigerated transport).
• Remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
• Able to work Monday–Friday, 4:00am start and finish ~2:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chilled and frozen freight to Southland businesses.
• Manual lifting and hand unloads.
• Check temperature settings and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Perform daily vehicle checks.

We are on the hunt for someone who can be the friendly face of our business and deliver chilled or frozen freight along with outstanding service for our customers. If you have the right attitude and are keen to learn, this is an excellent role to begin your career path within Hall's at our Invercargill Depot.

In this role you will see yourself delivering chilled & frozen food to businesses within the Southland region, this will include manual lifting and hand unloads, checking temperature settings, ensuring accuracy of documentation and completing daily vehicle checks.

What you’ll need:

• Possess a full & clean Class 2License
  
• At least1 year of solid New Zealand driving experience(bonus points for refrigerated transport!)
  
• A cool head under pressure – time deadlines are part of the game
  
• A self-motivated, can-do attitude
• Able to workMonday - Friday,4:00am starts and finish at approximately 2pm
