Job summary

Hall's is seeking a Night Store person in Dunedin to join our stores operation. You will load and load freight for our drivers, working nights from 10pm to 6:30am, Monday to Friday, in a busy chilled/frozen environment.

You should have warehousing experience, counterbalance forklift ability, and be prepared to work in a cool store. OSCH forklift licence is advantageous; on-site parking and career development are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous warehousing experience, preferably in chilled/frozen environments.
• Ability to work night shifts in a cool store environment.
• Counterbalance forklift experience or certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Load and prepare chilled or frozen freight for loading to trucks.
• Assist with loading/unloading and stock checks in the warehouse.
• Keep warehouse and equipment clean and safe; manual handling as required.

Job Description

At Hall's, we are looking for an experienced Night Store person with the right attitude and experience to join our team in our stores operation based in Dunedin. We are seeking an individual who can be the friendly face of our business and prepare and load chilled or frozen freight with outstanding service for our customers and dedicated drivers.

You will need to be a team player ready to join a hardworking team and have previous warehousing and counterbalance experience, preferably within a chilled/frozen environment.

The days and hours of work are the following:

• Monday through to Friday 10pm - 0630am (40 hours per week)

To be successful in this role you'll need:

• The ability to work in a cool store environment
• Possess a Class 4 or 5 license (advantageous)
• Loading and unloading freight to and from trucks
• Cleaning and maintaining warehouse and equipment
• Heavy lifting (up to 20KG)
• Operate counterbalance and reach Forklifts in a safe manner - (OSCH Licence)
