Foodstuffs North Island in Hamilton is seeking a Class 2 driver to join our Transport and Logistics team. The role offers a significant opportunity to advance within our fast-growing store network.

You must hold a clean Class 2 Full License, have excellent verbal English, strong references, and a can-do attitude. The job involves early starts, some overtime, heavy lifting, and a commitment to health and safety within a supportive team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 2 vehicles as part of Transport and Logistics.

• Meet roster expectations and support the team during busy periods.

The right candidate must:

• Have excellent verbal English

• Be physically fit. The role involves a lot of heavy lifting 25kg+ (no pre-existing conditions that could be aggravated by this kind of heavy work)
• Be a team player who likes to pitch in and takes pride in being part of an awesome team.
• Have their own transport to work (public transport is not a viable option)
• Be committed to Health & Safety and respectful of our policies
• Have respect for our customers,a commitment to the team they work in and a willingness to contribute to the business that employsthem.

Days and Hours of work are

Monday to Friday 4.45am - 1.45pm. You will be on a rotating roster to do a Saturday around every 3 weeks.

Due to the nature of the position, there may be a requirement for some overtime
