Job summary

Gilmours Hamilton, part of Foodstuffs North Island, is hiring a Warehouse Assistant - Forklift (Reach) Operator. You will replenish stock, move and rearrange stock in ambient and chilled/frozen areas, and operate reach and counterbalance forklifts with a valid license.

RF scanners and SAP training will help your day-to-day work. Applicants should be reliable, physically fit, and able to work Sundays to Thursdays, with shifts starting early.

Qualifications

• Forklift OSH cert and reach truck experience are essential.
• Previous warehousing experience ideal.
• NZ residency or valid NZ work visa is required.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
• Excellent references are preferred.
• Own transport is required.

The Role:

• Replenishment of the Store =
• Moving stock/rearranging in storage areas
• Will include work in ambient areas as well asChilled and Frozen environments
• Heavy lifting is involved (25kg+)
• Forklift (Reach truck and Counterbalance) MUST HAVE VALID FORKLIFT REACH license
• Use of handheld RF scanners
• Must be fluent in written and verbal English

• Previous work in a similar Retail storeenvironment ideal
• Be extremely reliable, a proven record ofexceptional attendance in all previous work.
• Be accountable and driven to better theirperformance each week.
• Adaptable to change, the role will vary betweenareas and departments
• Be physically fit - you will be on your feet alot and required to lift and move heavy products (25kg+)
• SAP knowledge an advantage
• Have excellent references
• Must have own transport (Public transport not aviable option)

Days and hours:

Full time: SUNDAY to THURSDAY

Sunday: 8am to 4pm

Monday to Thursday: 4am to 1.30pm
