Job summary

Dairyland Foods Limited, a Hamilton-based dairy manufacturer, is hiring a delivery driver to service customers across the Waikato region. You will load, transport, and deliver chilled products, ensuring orders match invoices and paperwork while maintaining product quality and vehicle cleanliness.

The role requires a full NZ Class 2 licence, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently with good communication skills. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full, clean New Zealand Class 2 driving licence.
• Delivery driving experience preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and well organised.

This role involves delivering chilled dairy products to customers across the region, loading and unloading stock, checking orders, maintaining delivery paperwork, and representing our business in a professional manner. You will be an important part of our daily operations, helping maintain strong customer relationships and ensuring our fresh products reach customers efficiently.

Key responsibilities

Deliver chilled dairy products to customers safely and on time

Load and unload stock from the delivery vehicle

Check orders against invoices or delivery dockets

Ensure products are handled carefully and kept within chilled requirements

Maintain a clean and tidy delivery vehicle

Communicate professionally with customers and the internal team

Report any delivery issues, damages, or customer feedback

Assist with general warehouse, dispatch, or factory duties when required

About you

Full, clean New Zealand Class 2 drivers licence

Previous delivery driving experience preferred

Reliable, punctual, and well organised

Physically fit and comfortable lifting boxes and chilled products

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and follow instructions

Strong attention to detail when checking orders and paperwork

Positive attitude and willingness to help the wider team

Experience delivering chilled or food products (preferred but not essential)

Knowledge of Hamilton, Waikato, and surrounding areas (preferred but not essential)
