Job summary

Big Chill Distribution is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our Putaruru hub. You will drive temperature-controlled loads of chilled and frozen goods, ensuring on-time delivery across Waikato and Bay of Plenty, while representing the company with excellent customer service.

This full-time role operates Monday to Friday starting at 5:00am with rostered Saturday work. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year's Class 2 experience, a strong focus on safety, and the ability to

About the Role

We are looking for anexperienced Class 2 Driverbased out of our busy Putaruru hub to join our team. Ideally you will have at least 1 years' experience driving Class 2 as well as experience in temperature-controlled transport, as you will be working with chilled and frozen goods. Being the face of Big Chill out on the roads, you will also bring to our team excellent communication and customer service skills.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday starting at 5:00am, with rostered Saturday work

Key responsibilities include

Delivery and pick up of chilled and frozen products across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty region

Providing assistance to the Stores team to present product for loading/unloading

Collaborating with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries

Compliance in delivery times and temperature control of customer goods

About You

Qualified Class 2 driver with at least 1 year's experience

Experience working in frozen/temperature-controlled environments

Demonstrable organisational and time management abilities

Committed to delivering exceptional customer service at all times

Strong understanding of the importance of Health, Safety and compliance
