Power Jointing (2018) Limited is seeking reliable Class 2 & 4 Drivers for Christchurch and surrounding areas. This hands‑on role involves heavy physical labour and would suit someone with civil construction experience who isn’t afraid to get stuck in.

Role includes tipper truck driving, trench excavation around live assets, and assisting civil crews with groundwork and general labour. Training and career growth opportunities are provided within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Full Class 2/4 licences are required.
• WTR endorsements preferred but not essential.
• Experience in civil construction is preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test.

Power Jointing (2018) Limited is a trusted electrical distribution and civil construction contractor delivering essential projects across Christchurch, Waimakariri, and Hurunui.

We’re currently on the lookout for reliable and hardworking Class 2 & 4 Drivers to join our team. This is a hands‑on role that involves heavy physical labour, and would suit someone with a background in civil construction who isn’t afraid to get stuck in.

Key Responsibilities

• Tipper truck driving
• Excavating trenches around live assets
• Completing daily pre‑start checks and truck maintenance
• Supporting civil crews with groundwork's and general labouring

What You’ll Need

• Full Class 2/4 drivers Licence
• WTR Endorsements (preferred but not essential)
• Previous experience in civil construction
• Willingness to undertake physically demanding work in all conditions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug test
