Job summary

OneStaff is seeking a Class 2 Driver/Labourer to join a busy civil construction crew. This hands-on role blends driving on and off worksites with on-the-ground labouring, so you’ll stay active and ready to help the team achieve daily targets.

You’ll work across site duties, load and transport materials, and help with traffic management and site set-up while following health and safety procedures. Immediate start available for the right person.

Qualifications

• Must have current Class 2 licence.
• Civil construction experience preferred.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 2 vehicles to and from civil worksites.
• Perform general civil labouring and site duties.
• Assist the team with day-to-day construction tasks.
• Load, unload and transport materials and equipment.
• Follow health and safety procedures on site; support traffic management and site set-up.

What’s involved:

• Driving Class 2 vehicles to and from civil worksites
• General civil construction labouring and site duties
• Assisting the team with day-to-day construction activities
• Loading, unloading and transporting materials and equipment
• Following health and safety procedures on site
• Supporting traffic management and site set-up where required

What we’re looking for:

• Current Class 2 licence
• Previous civil construction experience is preferred
• TMO or STMS qualification is a big advantage
• Comfortable carrying out physical labouring duties
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work well in a team
• Available to start immediately
• Own reliable transport to get to and from work
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
