Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a hands-on Civil Class 4 Driver to support various civil construction projects. While driving will be a large part of the role, you will also assist with general labouring and site duties as needed.

We value a safety-focused, dependable, and team-oriented attitude to help the project run smoothly. Applicants should have proven civil driving experience, WTR endorsements (preferred), and a willingness to work day, night, and stay-away shifts as required.

Responsibilities

As a Civil Class 4 Driver, you'll play a key role in supporting a variety of civil construction projects. While driving duties will form a large part of the role, you will also be expected to assist with general labouring and site duties as required. We're looking for someone who is hands-on, safety-focused, dependable, and willing to contribute wherever needed to support the team.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience driving within the civil construction industry
• Road Ranger gearbox experience (preferred, but not essential)
• Current WTR (Wheels, Tracks & Rollers) endorsements
• Willingness to carry out general labouring duties when required
• Flexibility to work day shifts, night shifts, and stay-away work when required
• Ability to work extended hours, including early starts and late finishes
• Positive attitude and strong team-player mindset

Requirements:

• Hold a class 4 full licnce with WTR endorsements
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• Clean criminal history (background check will be completed)
• Reliable transport to and from site
• Good attitude and team player
