Job summary

Stellar Recruitment Pty is seeking an experienced Class 5 truck driver for a respected Canterbury civil contractor. Based from the Yaldhurst yard, you will operate truck and trailer units on civil projects across the region, with home every night and no FIFO.

You’ll join a trusted team known for reliability, safety, and practical hands-on workmanship, delivering earthworks and roading tasks while maintaining a modern fleet of vehicles and equipment.

Qualifications

• Class 5 licence with truck and trailer experience.
• Proficient jack-knifing and aggregate spreading.
• Experience transporting civil plant and machinery.
• Knowledge of Canterbury quarries and haul routes.
• Understanding of civil construction materials.

Responsibilities

• Transport aggregates to civil construction sites.
• Spread roading materials using truck and trailer.
• Jack-knife trailers in confined work areas.
• Transport machinery between projects and yards.
• Complete daily vehicle and safety checks.
