Job summary

Platinum Recruitment in Invercargill, Southland, NZ, is seeking a Bid Writer to shape civil tenders by turning technical detail and commercial thinking into compelling submissions. You’ll coordinate input from multiple stakeholders and ensure bids are accurate and client-tailored.

You’ll work across estimating, operations and commercial teams to align pricing, methodology, risk and compliance, while reviewing past outcomes to strengthen future submissions.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating or managing multiple bids, tenders or proposals.
• Ability to turn technical information into compelling content.
• Good commercial judgement and understanding of what makes a strong tender submission.

Responsibilities

• Writing clear, persuasive and well-structured tender responses.
• Coordinating multiple bids, contributors and competing deadlines.
• Working with estimating, operations and commercial teams to bring together pricing, methodology, risk and compliance information.
• Supporting client submissions, clarifications and negotiations throughout the tender process.
• Reviewing previous bid outcomes and applying lessons learned to strengthen future submissions.
