Job summary

Trade Assist is seeking experienced Civil Machine Operators across Auckland to work on civil construction sites, earthworks, roading, drainage and infrastructure projects. If you can adapt to different environments and actively support the crew, we want to hear from you.

Role requires proven plant operation experience with a safety-focused approach; WTR endorsement is required, and GPS machine control experience is a bonus.

• Proven experience operating civil plant across multiple project types.
• WTR endorsement is required.
• Experience with GPS machine control systems is a bonus.
• Safety-focused, reliable and flexible across site types.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of civil plant (excavators, loaders, rollers, dozers, graders as applicable).
• Assist on site where required and support crew on varied civil works.
• Adapt to subdivisions, earthworks, roading, drainage, and infrastructure projects.

Trade Assist is on the hunt for experienced Civil Machine Operators for a range of projects across theAuckland region. This is for multiple clients and site types - including subdivisions, civil construction sites, earthworks, roading, drainage, and infrastructure projects. If you're a versatile operator who can adapt to different environments, we want to hear from you. This role isn't about sitting in the seat all day - there's a clear expectation that operators will jump out, assist on site where required, and be a solid team player!

What we need from you:

• Proven experience in civil machine operating
• WTR endorsement - required
• Confident operating a range of plant, such as: Excavators, Loaders, Rollers, Dumpers / Moxy's, Dozers & Graders (where experienced)
• Safety-focused, reliable, and flexible across site types
• Willing to support the crew when needed

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience using GPS machine control systems
• Class 2 licence or higher
• Current Site Safe ticket
