Job summary

Alliance Extra Staff in Christchurch seeks multiple civil construction laborers to support on-site teams as they ramp up for the year. This rain-or-shine role requires physical fitness and reliability to perform manual tasks outdoors.

You will assist with loading/unloading materials, use basic hand and power tools, spot machine operators, and carry out other general labouring duties while complying with health and safety regulations. NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is required.

Qualifications

• Have proven experience in civil construction or a similar field.
• Physically fit and able to keep up with the physical elements of the role.
• Happy to work outdoors in any weather - this is a rain or shine job!
• Must pass a pre employment drug test.
• Clear MOJ, as this can often impact locations of the work.
• Full class 1 drivers license - not essential but advantageous.
• Reliable transport to and from work.
• Applicants should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
