Job summary

Alliance Extra Staff in Christchurch is seeking a skilled Civil Labourer with a WTR endorsement to join local projects around the Christchurch CBD and Canterbury. Immediate start and long-term temp-to-perm opportunities are available.

You will assist on civil sites, trench and lay pipes, operate aloader, and help ensure site safety and reliability. A valid NZ work visa or residency is required.

Qualifications

• Experience on civil sites.
• WTR endorsement required.
• Able to operate aloader.
• Excavator experience preferred.
• Class 2 licence to drive a small tipper is beneficial but not essential.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test.
• NZ residency or valid NZ work visa.

Responsibilities

• Assist with trenching and laying pipe.
• Operate aloader on site.
• Support site safety and teamwork.
• Be reliable and a team player.
• Transport to/from sites.

Alliance Extra Staff – Christchurch, South Island

Our client is a local contractor in Christchurch, with ongoing projects around the Christchurch CBD and throughout Canterbury!
With a number of projects due to start in the next couple of weeks, we are looking for a skilled and competent Civil Labourer with a WTR endorsement

• Experience working on civil sites
• Assisting with trenching and laying pipe.
• WTR - Must be able to operate aloader.
• Excavator - experience preferred but no essential.
• Class 2 licence to drive a small tipper - beneficial but not essential

This role is an immediate startfor the successful candidate, with long term temp to perm opportunities. Other role requirements include:

• Reliable and a team player
• Vehicle to get to and from sites
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Current Site Safe - Extrastaff can assist with this!
