Job summary

Unison Contracting Services Limited is seeking a Civil Labourer to support important infrastructure projects in Taupo. You will perform hands-on civil labour and operate civil plant machinery, working with an experienced team to deliver quality work safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have civil construction experience, a full clean driver's licence, and a valid Class 2 licence, with a reliable, fit, and team-oriented attitude.

The Opportunity

Are you keen to build your civil construction career in a hands-on, varied role? Join our Civils team as a Civil Labourer and contribute to important infrastructure projects across Taupo.

You’ll combine skilled labouring and civil plant operation. Working alongside an experienced team, you’ll help deliver quality work safely, efficiently and professionally.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Driving vehicles and operating machinery as required
• Assisting with trenching and other civil construction activities
• Maintaining quality, housekeeping and safe-work standards
• Reporting hazards, incidents and public safety concerns promptly

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in general civil construction
• A full and clean driver's licence
• Current Class 2 licence
• A reliable, physically fit and team-focused approach

You’ll need to be available to work at least 40 hours per week, with occasional shifts, weekend work and standby or on-call duties as required.
