Job summary

ALH Auckland is offering a 12-month fixed-term placement on a major civil infrastructure project in Auckland. You will gain practical experience, learn on-site safety practices and work under supervision to build a long-term career in civil construction.

No extensive civil construction experience is required; attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are essential. Eligibility for NZ work rights applies, with a driver's licence advantageous.

We’re looking for people who are:

• Reliable and punctual

• Physically capable of working in a construction environment


• Comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team


• Genuinely interested in building a career in civil construction


• Able to commit to at least 30 hours per week


• Based on the North Shore or surrounding areas


• Able to reliably get to and from site

A driver's licence and reliable transport would be an advantage.

You’ll need to meet standard pre-employment requirements, including a drug and alcohol test and relevant background checks.

No extensive civil construction experience is required — attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
