Seipp is an award-winning New Zealand infrastructure contractor delivering technically challenging civil infrastructure. Based in Christchurch, we’re seeking an Estimator to join our Christchurch team to contribute to tenders across water, wastewater, pipelines, structures and other civil works.

You’ll work with a Senior Estimator and local colleagues, testing methodologies, production rates, resources and risks to develop robust estimates that stand up at site.

Formación

• You’ll be an Estimator with at least three years’ relevant estimating experience in civil construction.
• You’ll be comfortable with drawings, quantities, rates, productivity and subcontractor pricing.
• Experience with Pronamics Expert Estimation would be an advantage. A qualification in Quantity Surveying or Engineering is preferred, but practical capability is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare estimates and contribute to tender submissions with senior support and review.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and scope.
• Develop first-principles estimates across labour, plant, materials, subcontractors and preliminaries.
• Collaborate with delivery teams on methodologies, programme and resourcing.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Identify risks, opportunities, assumptions and scope gaps.
• Contribute to non-price submissions, tender reviews and clarifications.
• Help hand successful tenders over to delivery teams.
