Job summary

We are working with an innovative and proactive consultancy who are looking to appoint a talented and energetic Civil Engineer with a focus on stormwater design and roading to join their team in Christchurch. They are a medium sized full service civil engineering consultancy specialising in water engineering and land development. You will need to have a minimum of 12 months engineering consultancy experience in NZ and a BE from a NZ University to be considered.

Services include investigations and pre-development advice, consenting, options assessment, full design services, project management, construction observation and contract management. The team is growing and has a reputation for technical excellence and quality across the country.

With a proud history of partnering with their clients to deliver creative and commercially sound engineering resolutions, this position will suit a qualified Civil Engineer with previous experience working in a consultancy or local government environment. The consultancy has a strong environmental focus and will offer you the chance to work on a diverse range of projects.

This role will see you providing technical design input and guidance to the team and developing solutions for a range of environmental projects throughout the country. You will need to be Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or Natural Resources and have a focus on environmental engineering and water resources. Local experience in modelling is beneficial. You will need to be a self-starter and able to get on and do the job.
