Job summary

Kidsbase is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Programme Supervisor to lead our Before School, After School and Holiday programmes at Marshland School, Christchurch. You will help plan age-appropriate activities, supervise sessions, and communicate with parents to ensure a safe, engaging environment.

Hours are 7:15am–9:00am and 2:30pm–6:00pm on weekdays during school terms (26.25 hrs/week), with possible holiday work 7:30am–6:00pm. A FULL driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school-age setting is desirable.
• Ability to plan engaging activities and supervise groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning age-appropriate activities to enthuse and engage children.
• Help lead Before School, After School and Holiday Programme sessions.
• Communicate with parents to share updates and resolve concerns.
• Ensure safety and well-being of children, following policy and procedures.
