Job summary

Bureau Veritas Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced M&E Senior Site Supervisor for a key role in Otago, New Zealand. You will lead the on-site M&E supervision team, ensuring delivery in line with project requirements and safety standards.

You will direct contractors and consultants, manage interfaces, and oversee QSS staffing to meet project schedules. A strong background in PSSCOC contracts and building services is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering recognized by the PEB Singapore.
• Preferably Registered Resident Engineer (RRE) with IES.
• 20 years of relevant mechanical/electrical building services experience.
• 15 years on projects of similar size and complexity.
• Minimum 5 years with current contractor.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration under PSSCOC.
• Experience in multidisciplinary integration and interface management.
• Familiar with interface registers and coordination workflows.
• Proven leadership with focus on technical excellence, quality, and safety.

• Lead and manage the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) site supervision team to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide overall direction and management to achieve project objectives in accordance with requirements set by the Superintending Officer and consultants.
• Oversee major M&E works for large-scale building construction projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Administer contracts and supervise project execution in accordance with Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC).
• Manage and oversee Quality Site Supervision (QSS) manpower deployment based on project schedules and operational requirements.
• Lead multi-disciplinary coordination and integration across project stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
• Oversee interface management processes, including interface registers, coordination workflows, and resolution of integration issues.
• Ensure the welfare, performance, and effective deployment of site supervision personnel.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore.
• Preferably accredited as a Registered Resident Engineer (RRE) with the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES).
• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in mechanical or electrical building services within the building construction industry.
• At least 15 years of experience on projects of similar size and complexity, particularly major building construction projects.
• Minimum 5 years of continuous employment with the current contractor.
• Strong knowledge and experience in contract administration under PSSCOC.
• Extensive experience in multidisciplinary integration, interface management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Familiar with interface registers, coordination workflows, and systematic resolution of interface issues.
• Proven leadership skills with a strong commitment to technical excellence, quality, and workplace safety.
