Tegel Foods Ltd in New Plymouth is seeking a chicken catcher to join our Chicken Catching team. This permanent role suits someone who enjoys physical work, is a jack of all trades, and has genuine concern for animal welfare.

This role is physically demanding with some heavy lifting. Weekend and public holiday work may be required. Overtime rates apply after standard hours, with added incentive for weekends.

We're seeking a chicken catcher to join our Chicken Catching team. This permanent position will suit someone who enjoys physical work, is a jack of all trades, and most importantly, has genuine concern for animal welfare. The role is physically demanding with some heavy lifting required. If you are the type of person who likes to roll their sleeves up and pitch in, then this opportunity is for you!

• We pay well above minimum rates.
• We have levels of pay that increase after every 12 months' service for 3 consecutive years.
• We pay overtime after 8 ordinary hours a day at 1.6 times your ordinary base rate for the first 2 hours' overtime, after which you get paid at 1.75 times your ordinary base rate for the remainder of that day's overtime.
• Any weekend work is paid at 1.6 times your ordinary base rate
