Job summary

Clear Realm Creation Limited, a Dunedin-based renovation and property services company, is seeking an experienced wall and floor tiler. The role involves tiling walls and floors, preparing surfaces, measuring and cutting tiles, applying adhesives and grout, and assisting with broader renovation tasks.

The position offers guaranteed hours and requires reliability, with weekend work possible. Minimum one year tiling experience is preferred; a valid driver’s license and up-to-date certifications

Qualifications

• At least one year of proven work experience as a wall and floor tiler.
• Good knowledge of tiling materials, adhesives, grouts, and tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare wall and floor surfaces by tiling and removing old materials.
• Prepare surface and lay wall and floor tiles with accuracy.
• Measure, cut, and shape tiles to fit around fixtures and obstacles.
• Apply adhesives, grout, and sealants, ensuring a high-quality finish.
• Apply waterproofing systems.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain existing tile surfaces.
• Assist with renovation tasks as needed.
• Follow health and safety procedures on all sites.

Job description

We have 1 full-time permanent job available in our precast concreteproduction facility. Minimum of 30hours per week, maximum of 40hours per week. $35 - $40/ hr depending on ability and experience

The rule includes:

• Directly overseeing all staff working in casting yard.
• Uses shop drawings to set-out precast components.
• Box and form panels on casting and stressing beds.
• Operates forklift and telehandler.
• Install pre-fabricated reinforcing cages.
• Works with crane operators to demould panels from casting bed and stacking in racks.
• Assists with loading trucks for delivery to site.

*You must have 1-2 years of work experience *Qualification is not required if the work experience requirement is met *Must provide the latest police and medical certifi cate, must providerecent drug test result, did not claim from ACC for the last 3 years, musthave a full and clean driver's license

We are looking for an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler who can also assist with wider renovation tasks.

Guaranteed hours: 30 hours per week.

Tasks Include, but not limited to :

• preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces
• Prepare surface and lay wall and floor tiles with accuracy.
• Measure, cut, and shape tiles to fit around fixtures and obstacles.
• Apply adhesives, grout, and sealants, ensuring a high-quality finish.
• Applying waterproofing systems
• Inspect, repair, and maintain existing tiles surfaces.
• may lay coloured tiles in patterns to create mosaics
• Assist with renovation tasks such as plastering, painting, carpentry, and general repair work when required.
• Follow health and safety procedures on all sites.

Skills and Experience Required:

• At least one year of proven work experience as a wall and floor tiler.
• Good knowledge of tiling materials, adhesives, grouts, and tools.
• Experience in other renovation work (plastering, painting, basic carpentry or plumbing) is a strong advantage.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently and work in weekends as part of a small team.
