Compass Group NZ is seeking a Chef de Partie for Kaiora Cafe in Auckland CBD. The role is permanent with a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours per week, reporting to the Executive Chef in a quality-focused production kitchen.

You will oversee your kitchen section, uphold food safety and quality standards, and contribute to efficient production. Training and development opportunities are provided through Compass Group NZ.

Formación

• Proven culinary experience with ability to work under pressure.
• NZQA Food Handling Certificate, Units 167 & 168.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead/mentor a team.
• Understanding of catering operations within budgetary requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver culinary production to meet quality and operational standards.
• Manage kitchen section and ensure products meet specifications.
• Train and support team to maintain productivity, food safety and quality.
• Assist with recipe development, portion specifications and menu requirements.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef on production logistics.
