Punakaiki Rocks Hotel & Garden Bar is seeking a Chef de Partie to prepare, cook and serve food for service and staff meals at Scenic Hotel Group's Punakaiki property.

This full-time role offers a minimum 30 hours per week on a rotating weekend roster, with ongoing kitchen duties under the Head Chef. Join New Zealand's largest locally owned hotel group with 18 properties nationwide and contribute to high standards of hospitality.

Competenze

• 2–3 years experience in a commercial kitchen.
• 1–2 years experience in a similar role.
• NZQF Level 4 or higher in Cookery.
• Food Handling Certificate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Mansioni

• Prepare, cook and serve food for service.
• Prepare, cook and serve staff meals.
• Ensure food is stored at correct temperatures and meets hotel standards.
• Clean and sanitise work areas and equipment.
• Store food properly to prevent spoilage.
• Follow sanitation and hygiene procedures.
• Assist Head Chef or Sous Chef with other duties.
