Job summary

Woolworths New Zealand is looking for a Checkout Operator to join our Woolworths New Zealand team. You’ll greet customers, process transactions at our tills, and help shoppers with product information and services in-store.

You’ll work with a friendly team, stay on your feet during shifts, and contribute to a welcoming shopping experience while adhering to rules for age-restricted products like tobacco and alcohol.

We’re looking for a Checkout Operator to join our Woolworths New Zealand team.

What you'll do

• Face to face customer service at checkouts
• Manage cash and EFTPOS payments
• Help our customers by being knowledgeable about our products and services in our store
• Help us stick to the rules around the sale of age restricted goods, such as tobacco and alcohol
• Assist customers through our self-service checkouts
