Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Glenfield is seeking a Checkout Operator on a fixed-term basis from 15 October 2026 to 31 January 2027. This full-time role (40 hours per week) runs Sunday to Thursday, involving customer service at the point of sale and related tasks.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, an alert mind for problem solving, and a friendly, can-do attitude. Cash handling experience is preferred and on-site parking is available.

Checkout Operator (Fixed Term) - Mitre 10 MEGA Glenfield

About the role:

We are seeking for our Mitre 10 MEGA in Glenfield a Checkout Operator - fixed term (15 October 2026 to 31 January 2027), full-time (40 hours per week). The shifts will be Sunday to Thursday. You will ensure all customer queries are being taken into account and escalated where required, work on the point of sale checkouts and other functions as required.

This role is front-end and customer facing, it requires you to bring an intermediate level of computer literacy and would suit someone with a passion for customer service.

An ideal candidate will have:

• a quick and alert mind for problem solving, multitasking and organising


• an ability to adapt and be flexible


• a willingness to learn with a can-do attitude


• Customer service and cash handling experience is preferred
